Hello! Thanks for stopping by.

Harsimar Delany

I’m Harsimar Delany, the person behind this blog.

Born and raised in the UK, I grew up in a family where flowers and thoughtful gift wrapping were part of everyday life. My nan’s garden and my mum’s hand-tied ribbons left a lasting impression on me.

Based in United Kingdom

From the flower studio to this blog

I started blogging under my own name in early 2019, shortly after completing five years as a florist and gift consultant at a boutique studio in London. My work there covered wedding bouquets, personal gifts and arrangements for corporate launches.

I’m still deeply involved in the world of flowers and gifts. I’m currently putting together a Christmas gift guide for different budgets and testing flower subscription boxes for a future review.

The blog has been featured in several UK lifestyle publications, helping readers choose gifts and arrangements for the occasions they care about. Topics range from flowers for wedding anniversary years to practical Valentine’s Day gift planning.

How I Choose What to Write About

I focus on common gifting questions, seasonal occasions and the decisions that can make a thoughtful gesture feel difficult. Research-led guides explain practical selection criteria and use information that can be checked. Personal experience is described only when it genuinely happened.

My Approach to Recommendations

I consider who a gift is for, the nature of the occasion, the available budget, delivery conditions and whether the idea is likely to be useful or welcome. Pexels photographs illustrate themes and do not represent products tested or purchased by me.
